Australian Standard 1170.4 – 2007 Commentary, 2nd Edition (2021)

AEES member and past president John Wilson prepared the first edition of the commentary, which was launched at the 2009 AEES conference. A significantly revised second edition of the commentary has been released in 2021. The revised second edition was prepared to capture significant changes that occurred to the standard through the A1 and A2 amendments released in 2015 and 2018, respectively. The second edition has also provided many updates more generally and contains a considerable amount of valuable information that cannot be found elsewhere in other documents, making it pseudo seismic design guide for Australia.
